Lindsay Rush is a gorgeous upcoming singer who is not only pleasant to the eyes but also to the ears. She is a girl who is very approachable, friendly and very unpretentious. It shows in her music. Not only can Lindsay sing, she is a girl with a deep conviction, as spokeperson for mpower: musicians for mental health, she joins other musicians in being awareness to mental health issues of the young and offering them a helping hand.

At the age of 15, she moved into a new closed-knitted community and being an outsider, she was viewed differently from the others. Instead of doing anything foolish, she penned her life experiences in her songs. Being a talented girl as she is, she was able to pick up the guitar and penned the songs she wrote. She soon found herself performing at ‘Open Mic’ auditions and made a nice following to her brand of music, one which is close to the hearts of many. Her music appeals to everyone.

She has justed completed recording her new acoustic album ‘Makeup Off’ featuring 10 specially selected tracks which she wrote that are closed to her heart. It seems like almost every few weeks, there is a school-related killing in the papers. Something is definitely wrong with our kids or the school system in the US. This week alone, there appears to be two such incidents and it really sadden me. Something is wrong with our society. Guns should not be permitted in the homes and those who do not know how to use them responsibly should not be given access to them. In fact, guns should not even be permitted for sale to the general public at all.

I’ve just read about the recent incident September 29 2006 in Winconsin where a Nine-Grader stole a gun from home and shot dead his principal. http://edition.cnn.com/2006/US/09/29/wisc.shooting.ap/index.html .

A few days earlier on September 27 2006 in Colorado, a 53 man walked into a school took 6 female student hostage, molest them and fatality shot one and then killed himself.

On September 13 2006 in Quebec, a 25 years old guy went into school and started shooting the students and was later killed by the police.

What is happening ? It is a sad sad world that we live in. What happens to all the tolerance, love thy neighbor and all that which we were taught in school.

I received a bulletin on MySpace and this just sickens me. I know that there are some girls who wanted so much to be thin but being just skins and bones. This definitely looks horrible.

Guys, don’t go calling anyone fat and Girls, remember what is important is that you are beautiful inside, you don’t need to be thin to be beautiful, you just need to be yourself.
